Manufacturers added fluorine to the standard silicone hydrogel material in the Air Optix for Astigmatism, preserving the necessary amount of moisture (33%), and improving the ability of transmissibility to the cornea (Dk / t: 138) by the surface of the contact lenses oxygen. The lens is equipped with “123” indicator and a light blue tint to simplify the manipulation. The surface is worked up by plasma method that retains the characteristics of the lens during the whole period of use.
